blend of over 450 Pakistani and Imported products to
mountaineering expeditions at most competitive prices. These
products include camping & kitchen gear; packing material, burners &
fuel, hygiene & janitorial; tools & repair kits, food,
Clothing & Equipment for
your low & high altitude porters; dehydrated, fresh, packaged,
stapled, grain & canned foods; first aid & rescue equipment and many
other products required by the expeditions. Before this catalogue
was founded in 1990, all such items used to be brought to Pakistan
by the expeditions from their homeland and they had to spend a lot

MINI EXPEDITION PACKAGE

This is our very popular package under which you are at liberty to
take as many services or products as you may want from our published
tariff and yet, you can make many arrangements on your own.
For this option, we are the only agency
in Pakistan who neither levy any service charges nor do we demand
any advance payments. Just pay us cash on your
arrival in Islamabad.

services. As you can see, the best part of this option is that you
only pay for the actual services you will take from us and we
DO NOT
levy service charges, overheads or other unforeseen costs.
Under this option, we'll also help you estimate your expedition
budget (nearest to accuracy), however, you'll be at liberty to
increase, decrease or change the quantity of services or products to
suit the exact needs of your expedition.

INCLUSIVE EXPEDITION PACKAGE
Based on a mutually agreed itinerary, services and terms under this
option, we’ll provide you our Inclusive Expedition Package which
will include the following services.

- Wages, food, personal equipment
and insurance for your Liaison Officer.
- Wages, food, equipment and
insurance for high altitude porters and mail runners.
- Costs of climbing permits,
security deposits for helicopter bond, environmental bond and
pollution cleaning fees.
- International and domestic air
tickets and airport taxes. Custom clearing agent’s fees.
- Sleeping bags, rucksacks,
climbing gear, personal clothing and equipment of members.
- Porterage or shipment of any
excess baggage.
- First aid kit, Oxygen,
medications, insurance, any liability, ground or air rescue
charges for any group member, guide, cook or porter & other force
majeure conditions.
- Room services, meals on
ala-carte, any special food or high altitude food.
- Services of guides, cooks and
porters beyond the base camps.
- Laundry, mineral water,
beverages, tea and coffee.
- Entrance fees into
archaeological sites, monuments and museums.
- Costs of delays, extra services
and/or extra driving or sightseeing.
- Extra room charges for earlier
check-in and late check-out. (check out is 1200 hrs)
- Charges for phone, fax, telex
and e-mail and all other items of personal nature & services not
agreed with Pakistan Guides in advance.
Our Inclusive Expedition Package
may cost you from US$ 25/= to
US$ 75/= per day per person
depending on total duration, size of your expedition & type of
services you order.
ECONOMY
EXPEDITION PACKAGE
This package is similar to our inclusive package as described above
and includes all the above services except Wages, Food, Equipment &
Insurance for your Porters & Liaison Officer. This option
helps you save money by directly paying your porters for which we'll
give you all the necessary assistance.
Please note, the wages of your porters (which keep fluctuating) are
the most expensive part of your expedition. Despite your meticulous
calculation, it'll be extremely difficult for you to calculate the
exact weight of your expedition prior to your arrival in Pakistan
which will make it difficult for us to calculate the exact
number of porters. So if we quote you for our package including
porters, we'll have to calculate at a higher rate to absorb the
unforeseen costs in lieu of varying numbers of porters & their
fluctuating wages which will, obviously, increase your expedition's
budget. So we suggest you pay your porters directly !
for which we'll provide you every possible assistance for hiring
them, covering their insurance & providing them food & personal
equipment. Our guides, cooks & sardars will also give you every
assistance for handling your porters without any problems.
Our Economy Expedition Package may approx. cost you
from US$ 15/= to
US$ 35/= per day per person depending
on total duration, size of expedition & type of services you order.
We give the following Free Services to the expeditions who choose
our Inclusive Expedition Package or Economy Expedition Package.
Free - Hotel & Food for Leader in Rawalpindi if he
arrives 2 days prior to his expedition.
Free - Transport in Rawalpindi for Leader if he arrives 2
days prior to his expedition.
Free - Lending of one complete Oxygen cylinder kit for
emergency at base camp.
Free - One large sized duffel bag per expedition member
for personal use.
Free - Unlimited use of e-mail facility based at our office
in Rawalpindi.
For any of the above options, we need the following information
from you.
i Total expedition members.
mention your cooks, high altitude porters & your Liaison Officer.
ii Estimated days A)- In Pakistan, B)- At your base camp
(preferably with dates).
iii Total expedition weight in Kilo Grams. A)- Brought to
Pakistan, B)- Back to Home.
iv Services wanted or not wanted (as mentioned above).
v Types of hotels wanted, that is : tourist class (cheaper) or
standard class (moderate).
vi Meal plan in hotels, that is : A)-Only breakfast, or
B)-Breakfast + Dinner or C)-All meals.
vii Any other information which may help us compute your logistics
and our quotations !
Upon receipt of the above information, we'll send you our most
competitive quotations based on our most favorable terms.
PERSONAL CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT
A word of caution ! Many non professional tour
operators will try to impress you by including the personal
equipment, food and accommodation of your Liaison Officer in their
Expedition Packages & give you an impression as if they are saving
your money. Please be careful !
the Tour Operators are NOT
allowed to cater you for the personal allowances of your Liaison
Officer.
As per the Govt. rules, every expedition has to provide (a)
hotel accommodation, (b) three meals a day and (c)
personal clothing & equipment
to their Liaison Officers. In lieu of (a) & (b), your
LO has the choice to demand money (which is a normal practice) &
cater himself, whereas, you must buy new & good quality equipment
for him as per his size & specifications you'll receive from our
Ministry of Tourism. Any violation on your part or a proposed
bargain from your Tour Operator may cause disputes between you &
your LO which, may end up in causing serious problems to your
expedition.
